Artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things are fundamentally transforming Chinese agriculture. At the demonstration park of Zhejiang Houji Intelligent Technology in eastern China, vegetable cultivation is fully automated. Their self-developed transplanting machine replaces manual labor, planting 30 seedlings in 40 seconds—over 70% more efficient than manual work. Under such conditions, lettuce yields up to 10 harvest cycles a year, doubling the output of traditional fields and increasing production volume by five to seven times.
